It's that time of year, really, so here's some random cuteness for you all.

There are piglets on the way too, but they're not due for another two months or so. It's just cuteness overload here at the moment though, and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Those are cute. And I know cute. PHJ you live on a farm or something?

A croft, which is an agricultural smallholding. It's pretty much the norm here - there's only one proper 'farm' that I know of on the island, and that's a dairy farm.

So you have quite a few animals?

Just pigs and chickens - those sheep aren't ours, they're just ones I've happen to have taken photos of. The chickens are great though; it's just like having your own feathery soap opera.

They're getting bigger at an alarming rate - they've got all their wing feathers now already.

How long's it been since they hatched?

Not far off a fortnight, now.

They aren't that much bigger, to be fair, but the fuzz doesn't last for very long at all.

You were saying that spring is here? It feels more like winter again down here!

Heh, and not just down there either. The weather for the last few days has been terrible, but hopefully it will be better next week in time for the digger arriving.

More like blow-over here in Bassett.

The weather's just changeable now.

What a lovely, typical English summer :D
