If you've been getting "Failed Login Notification" messages for this board, you're not alone. I've heard from five members and counting. Fortunately, the problem should now be solved. I looked into other boards that were having the same problem and hit the jackpot with this one...

You'll notice the poster cites a specific IP address. I hadn't thought to check -- turned out all the messages forwarded to me reported that same address as the violator. Apparently this spam strategy is very local. That address (or rather, the small range mentioned further down in the thread) is now blocked from even loading the board, much less trying to log in.
This should solve the problem, but in case it doesn't, be sure to forward me any more notifications you get.
(By the way, just for fun I checked where that IP address actually is. It's the Russians. The Russians!)
