1. Sa`ar thinks LJs are tribbles, they will multiply and eat all of his pizza
2. Sa`ar is afraid LJs are evil clowns that eat children and bad punners
3. He is haunted by a misguided fear that an LJ will suck his soul out through his left ear
4. He`s afraid that if he gets an LJ, his polymer goo will achieve sentience and devour him

What we do is, we set up a page of our very own. We don't tell anybody where this page is located, and if anybody finds it, it's password-protected. On this page, we don't post anything that happens to us in our day to day lives. If some interesting thought occurs to us, or we have some idea we want to share, we don't post that, either. Should we come across some uproariously amusing article of net-humor, we can refrain from posting that, as well. Should any visitors penetrate thus far, their comments will be translated to Swahili, then not posted anywhere on the site.

I have no doubt such an effort will be enjoy a tremendous absence of popularity. Millions of people will not visit, and they will be neither awed nor inspired by our lack of work. Perhaps one day, if we don't work hard and devote time and energy, it may even fail to make a real difference to the world at large.

It [i:post_uid0]is[/i:post_uid0] true that the vast majority of blogs out there are banal and stupid. I should know. I'm a a LJ-reviewing community.

But we can always try to change that.

Bottom line being: Yes, we'd like you to get an LJ. Very much. It'd be nice to get to know y'all better outside the scope of the forums. But if you don't want to get one, that's fine, no hard feelings; 'tis a free forum. It's both our loss and yours, of course, but thankfully we've already got some great writers on board. ;)
