Today on 5MV X Years Ago, X=1. It was a year ago (and a bit) that the new This Just In (../thisjustin) was completed. The two-column layout and background were controversial, but almost all feedback was positive; I decided to see how it would age. Now, as TJI's biggest storyline continues, how do you think it's aged?

Aged? Ooh, terribly. I mean, I look at it now, the polyester shirts, the big hair, the flares, the platform shoes (but not pimp hats), and it all looks so dated. What we need I think is a re-imagining of the early TJI's to bring them more up to date, make them into something that modern audiences can really enjoy.

:D

Yes, and the pointy-toed shoes must go! Round toes are in-no more straght lines! N to mention, it needs some botox, I mean, really, it's a year old already. Ooo! Ooo! And don't forget, it's curly hair that is in now, not the stick-straight styles, so wavy, handwriting-like fonts are IN; easy to read, normal fonts are OUT.

Pfft. I believe the new TJI layout has aged gracefully, like a fine wine. It IS one year old, but I wouldn`t give it a day over 4 months!

I'm sorry. I just can't believe that's been so long ago.

Slowly. Or perhaps the better term would be "soonly."

Ah. It seems I'm online on an IRC night. Might as well check it out...

Hmmm. Apparently someone out there is bored out of their mind. Tell ya what:

Go find yourself a video of "Cause and Effect"- digital if possible- and watch it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over, okay? Stop it with the randomn posts.

Or it could be that.

I guess it's a good sign that there's enough activity at this forum for spambots to keep targeting it. I recently went through the memberlist and removed about 10 bots, and that's just the ones I was certain about.
