Okay. Questions that have come up in making bishops.
1) Women Bishops? Up to you.
2) Should there be four or five bishops and the archbishop (me)? Again, Up to you.
Please vote. It's important

Gatac
11-13-2004, 07:52 PM
Just nod and smile, Alexia, nod and smile...*g*

Seriously, though, the other thread doesn't really explain where this comes from. What's it about?

I think they should all be women. We could assimilate the forums. I'm going to smile, nod, and assume this is forum related...

Zeke

Let's see. Orgy with four women... orgy with five women... or orgy with not just women? Boy, that's a tough one.

Chancellor Valium
11-14-2004, 08:25 AM
this is to do with the "bishops required, apply within" thread....

Alexia
11-14-2004, 10:44 AM
 ...which doesn't really explain why either

*Smiles & nods*

I'm thinking its probably not to do with orgys though Zeke  Or should that be Orgies...it's not a word I type that ofter

Chancellor Valium

Basically, I made myself Archbishop of Fiverbury for Zeke's coronation, and was about to make requests for bishops, when Sa'ar threatened a schism on women bishops. So I called a vote on that and how many bishops there should be....all clear now?

Alexia
11-14-2004, 07:04 PM

But what about monsignors? We need at least one monsignor. And a couple of deacons.

Personally, I want to be a cardinal. I want one of the red hats they wore in medieval times, with the tassles around the sides (as in The Name of the Rose).

Chancellor Valium
11-15-2004, 10:46 AM
This is based on Anglicanism. No cardinals in anglicanism. And we're working from the top downwards.....and I was planning some monsignors [obscure quote] and an evil subdeacon [/obscure quote]

Chancellor Valium

umm...the head of the Anglican Union is the Primate of all England....Interestingly, in a hymn, Christ is called "O loving Pelican"....I personally don't understand, but I go along with it...

Bishops? Of Fiverdom?

...

...

...

What ON EARTH are you talking about?

I meant to say "what for heaven`s sake?", but I believe the number of religious references is already way over the top, for a Science Fiction Parody website.

Chancellor Valium

oh dear. I kinda suspected that was the joke. But nonetheless oh dear. That was truly dreadful. btw, has any1 played ST: the 25th Anniversary game? If so, how do you defeat the last level?
Oh, and I think we need an archbishop of Bork, to violently disagree with Fiverbury. Five marks for anyone who understands the references....

You just have to pass the last test now.
Two questions:
1) Where do the archbishoprics of bork and fiverbury refer to in the Anglican Union?
2) how do you do the nordic accents like that?

Nan

3. Which came first, A.D. or B.C. ? (Be careful.)

The chicken.

Of course it's the chicken.

Really? I thought there was no spoon?

Nan
11-22-2004, 08:58 AM
Which makes eating chicken soup that much more difficult. Being as there is neither chicken, nor spoon. Ergo, no chicken soup.

Indeed. <nods sagely>
