This is great news! Now I can be at last sure that I will have at my disposal a more high-tech way of torturing dissidents and malcontents with science - if catalina hadn't managed to pass, I was going to have to downgrade my plans to hitting them over the head with a copy of On the Origin of Species. But now I get to watch it done with... I dunno, van de Graaf generators and lasers and stuff.

I've used lasers. They're great for making marks on the wall when you miss the focusing prisms.

You know, I've heard some odd euphemisms for 'victim' before, but 'focusing prisms' has to take the biscuit.
