The Forge
Holy mother of Moses, this episode was great!
I've finally caught up on all the season three and season four episodes I've missed out on since I stopped watching after season two, just so I could get into this season (which I'm really enjoying). How many references did this episode have, anyway? Star Trek III, Star Trek IV, Star Trek II, "Yesteryear".... I'm wowed. The Augments arc was pretty great, but this... GOLD |
I really enjoyed this episode too. Archer didn't bug me as much as he usually does and since he wasn't hitting on T'Pol I wasn't annoyed with their scenes together and I liked seeing Trip in workout gear. Wait I meant to say I liked seeing him in charge.
Speaking of workout gear: How cool was that basketball game? Oh what fun! No Trip n T'Pol moments...well not obvious ones, but to obsessed fans like me there was plenty. ;) But I am looking forward to next week to see what happens next. I'm glad you got caught up on what you've been missing, isn't it great? (I just resisted the urge to use multiple question marks, be proud of me Zeke) |
And there was me thinking you were talking about the boss at the end of Elite Force 1
*wanders out of thread mumbling about stupid, behind Britain  * |

But yeah, that was an impressive episode. I'm very excited about seeing the following episodes that deal with this. Very very cool. It sucks Forrest is dead though. I liked him. And it's strange Soval is good now. I hated him. |
It was good, but predictable. I knew what was going to happen as soon as that Vulcan mine melded with Archer. I love learning about the Vulcan culture though. Xenobiology is kinda a hobby of mine. 8)

Yes, agreed. Great arc.
And talking about references... It was hard not to think 'Hello John', when Surak was talking inside Archers head. ;) It can't be a coïncidence. |
