here's a petition to keep the actors who play Sarah and Nick on CSI. If you watch, then you know they are worth keeping!

http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/supportjandg

If you don't watch, sign anyways! It could be your show's best actors that go next! Hey I signed a petition to keep Farscape and I've never seen it! Ok bad example... ;)[/color:post_uid0]

Well, I told my brother, and he almost freaked out. :p

That good enough for you? :D[/color:post_uid0]

admiral sab 07-17-2004 01:30 PM

lol yes that's good enough for me! Thanks! I did freak out! All they wanted was a pay raise...You'd think with all the money they are making off CSI they could afford it! CSI: New York, probably took a lot of their budget though! :eyeroll:[/color:post_uid0]

All the CSI shows would have their own budgets and staff, except maybe Jerry Bruckheimer.

It's hard getting a pay raise for a major network. Pay dispute is why whassisname, Rob Lowe, left [i:post_uid0]The West Wing.[/i:post_uid0]

The money made by the network on a show is is made via ad revenue, syndication, and merchandizing. A hit show like CSI, with millions of loyal viewers, would be quite profitable for ad-time.

Could just be that the people at the network are asshats.[/color:post_uid0]

Isn't that sort of a given? I thought one of the requirements for the job of network executive was a certain quality of asshat-ness.[/color:post_uid0]

CSI? Wassat? :p

I honestly don't care for the show(s). It and the L&O family just do nothing for me.[/color:post_uid0]

Opium 07-18-2004 10:42 PM

:( I just got into CSI. The show's chemistry is really good. Unlike L&O (which I love! ), you can't just take one element out and replace it with another. I hope they don't wreck CSI![/color:post_uid0]

[i:post_uid0]Eads was hired back at his old salary, a reported $100,000 per episode, said an executive close to the production who requested anonymity. Ender would not comment on terms of the deal.[/i:post_uid0]

Aww, poor guy... Only 100,000 dollars a week. No wonder he asked for a raise. Who can survive with 2 million dollars a year?[/color:post_uid0]

Vedra 07-28-2004 12:08 AM

Well,I can kind of understand their thinking. CSI is pretty popular (I think) and they want to make more money, since the network is making more money off of them. If your work at your job brought your company more money, wouldn't you want a raise too?

Nic Corelli 07-29-2004 06:22 AM

Well... yeah.
