Admitedly, yes, somewhat over the top, but as I logged-on, I found all the forums have changed. Not the biggest fan of surprises (So you can guess how fun I am watching 24 with).
What prompted the changes?
Anything new to learn?

Check the sticky two or three threads up. We went "on the road agian" due to some server problems.

My first thought: "Whoa. Oh, wait, that's right, this was supposed to happen."

I'm guessing member groups still need to be sorted out somewhat. I'm very glad we made the move without losing anything though. I think I've had quite enough of catastrophic data losses on this particular forum already. ;)

what kind of skin or interface options does this BBS have? The icons are a bit confusing; I'd like to know if I can streamline anything.

Personally, I'm not to keen on having the avatars at the top, rather than the sides...It feels icky...

Yes, I forgot to say to Zeke that all mods/groups etc. have been reset. He'll have to do them. I see also the emoticons are a bit buggered, and I'll sort them.

But the move was smooth otherwise, and vBulletin is much more secure than that old phpBB crap so I'm very pleased.

I'm pretty sure that can be adjusted; TK, for example (also uses vBulletin,) has their avs and user details over at the left side, so I'd imagine it's only a matter of time and a few tweaks.

Yeah, all that can be adjusted. For now, let's just revel in that 'new forum' smell.
