Spaceys '05!

There are a good few worthwhile things up this year: Enterprise, The 4400, Shaun of the Dead and even Team America.

Go vote! Now!

Stupid Space. Aren't the Spaceys supposed to be for SCI-FI SHOWS? Why the @#*$ are Lost and Alias in the best show category? Boo!

Chancellor Valium 04-03-2005 08:38 PM

Yes, what kind of sci-fi awards is that? Only ENT, SG1 and smallville in scifi - when smallville's scifiness is debatable?! Grr!

stripysox 04-03-2005 09:11 PM

I think its scifi/fantasy. Thats a pretty broad catagory.

Zeke 04-03-2005 10:02 PM

There's a category for pretty broads?

stripysox 04-03-2005 11:20 PM

Yes, and one for handsome hunks also.

Kira 04-04-2005 02:54 AM

I find it unbelievably sad that Smallville and Enterprise made it while Battlestar Galactica didn't. They're in the miniseries category, but come on. BG could kick any non-sci-fi ass that isn't named Veronica Mars, and it can't even get a shot at a Spacey? To that, I say again, Boo!

mudshark 04-04-2005 07:34 PM

stripysox, that link is returning a 404 for me. Has voting been closed already, or something?

Anonymous 04-04-2005 07:50 PM

^ I'm getting that too.

And BSG didn't make it? Boo! Boomer and Six are the prettiest broads out of the whole damn lot!

Draknek 04-04-2005 08:45 PM

I got that too.

It looks like the URL should be http://www.spacecast.com/spaceys05/viewerschoice.asp

Hmmm... SG-1 versus Atlantis. Toughie.

I hate BSG, but even I can see that it should have beaten Lost, Alias, and Smallville (combined, even!) for a shot at Best Show.

I know! I absolutely loved the crossovers for these, too. 'Cause they're not like normal, ratings-motivated crossovers. They're intricate to the story.

Yeah, BSG is awful, with a capitol "wful". But it still should have gotten higher than those cheese nuggets.

Wowbagger 04-11-2005 12:00 AM

tlhInganHom, I could learn to like you...

PointyHairedJedi 04-13-2005 04:35 PM

Okay Kira, which one do you want to lynch first? :D

Wowbagger 04-14-2005 10:25 PM

Ummm.... did you hear that? I could swear I just heard tlhInganHom say, "Pie is evil!" Take her first!

I'd like to think that not realizing how much ass this show kicks is its own punishment. I'd also like to think they hate it without having watched it.

However, reason presides. I say take 'em both at once.

I'd have been deeply worried if you'd said anything else. Damn replicants are replacing everyone these days...

What in the name of Zarquon's left elbow do donkeys have to do with TV?

PointyHairedJedi 04-16-2005 06:37 PM

Well, Arcturian Mega-Donkeys are pretty damn cool if you ask me (though standing downwind of one on days when there's anything more than a slight breeze is generally not advisable).
