Merry Christmas!

Here's hoping everyone has a great day :D

Nate the Great 12-25-2006 12:40 PM

And when we say "great," we mean stupendous. We mean joyful. We mean even a tribble couldn't make you happier.

Gatac 12-25-2006 12:58 PM

Frohe Weihnachten!

(Bangs side of head) Did I forget to feed my Babel Fish again?
(note: there's a secondary joke in there that is not lost on me)

Celeste 12-25-2006 02:22 PM

Happy Festivus!

Hejira 12-25-2006 03:12 PM

Chri - !

Oh, it's ten past one. Aey-emm. I missed it.

Oh well, happy Boxing Day. IMO, Boxing Day doesn't get enough love.

Merry Crimble, one and all!

And while we're at it, I'll get the Twee Crimble Line out of the way for this year:

"Why, 'tis the biggest goose in all Christendom!"

Hope everyone has/had/willen-on-mayan-happen-be-to a good one :D

Merry Christmas to all, including any lurkers/spambots. Have a nice holiday!

MaverickZer0 12-26-2006 08:40 AM

I don't believe in X-mas. So, I wish you a Joyous Bobunk, one and all!

Nate the Great 12-26-2006 10:29 AM

People really should use h2g2-style temporal tenses more often. :)

Ah, Bobunk. I really wish they'd turned that into a running gag. I can just imagine Salem now: "You call these pranks? On Bobunk the children never stopped until the mayor's toupee was burned to a crisp!" "Oh, I was just humming a Bobunk carol. What were you saying?" "I was visiting the Bobunk fairy in Limbo. What's going on?" And so on.

What's your favorite Festivus tradition? I'm leaning towards the Feats of Strength, but really it's just the aluminum pole set up in the middle of the room.

PointyHairedJedi 12-26-2006 01:34 PM

I'm late, but I don't care.

Merry Chirstmas from both all of me and my shiny new 120GB portable hard-drive!

Chancellor Valium 12-26-2006 02:45 PM

H2G2 does NOT STAND FOR THE HITCH-HIKER'S GUIDE! IT MAKES NO SENSE!

Ahem.

Festivus has nothing on Otherstide.

Nate the Great 12-26-2006 02:58 PM

HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy. HHGG. h2g2. It makes perfect sense. Or are you one of the purists who say THHGTTG?

Oh, and DNA himself said one word, no hyphen.

Never heard of Otherstide.

120 gig? Yikes. What are you going to fill it with? The only thing I can think of that'd take that much space is speedruns.

PointyHairedJedi 12-27-2006 12:24 PM

RAW files. Many, many RAW files.

Gatac 12-27-2006 03:43 PM

Or high-quality video. For film editing and such.

Don't look at me like that.

Gatac

MaverickZer0 12-27-2006 08:24 PM

Actually, video is what I was thinking too. For no reason.

Incidentally, this? is the best X-mas song ever.

Nate the Great 12-28-2006 11:05 AM

I was going to, but then I noticed it was Futurama. You do not want my tirade on how Simpsons and its kin are ruining animation today. Trust me, you don't.

MaverickZer0 12-28-2006 07:29 PM

I hate the Simpsons too, but Futurama's different. And no, I don't want a debate about how, except that it is.

Besides. The X-Mas Elves (Neptunians) song is awesome.
