Oh, sorry, I was looking the other way for a minute. There was this cool thing. It's gone now.

The file I was referring to is called "videofiverdemo.wav," and you definitely had something to do with it, because you're the speaker. You seem to be trying out Daniel and Teal'c voices. I have no idea where I got this file, but it dates to September '04. |

Could you e-mail that to me, by chance? My copy is stuck inside a glitchy Zip disk at the moment. I have Hejira's test, so if you don't have that I'd be glad to trade.
I would appreciate it if you'd post a newsbrief about the project with my e-mail address properly altered to scare away the trollers. triforceREMOVETHIS42@hotmail.com, for example. I'll save creating the group until we have achieved critical mass with the staff. |
How great would it have been, it have been able to get the Trek cast to do the fivers? Like at the end of shooting an episode, to just quickly do the fiver bit. I know it would have cost a hundred billion pounds (Or a billion billion Dollors, Or a trillion to the power of 6 Yen) But that would have been great, eh?
I not sure some would be so happy to take part though...Anthony Montgomery springs to mind.... |
One wonders if it'd be worthwhile to ask the New Voyages crew to voice the TOS fivers. I'm not gonna ask, though, because ever since the glory days of 5MSG I've wanted to voice an audiofiver, and no one's gonna stand in my way! :)
Come on, folks, we can't let the project die from lack of interest, like so many things on the web! I'm sure that all of you have been discouraged by other websites staying static for months and years on end when the creators just up and leave without telling anyone. Call it Trekkie pride! Fivies unite! Yeah, fivie. I've chosen to use that as the term for a fiver fan, pending Zeke's declaration of an official term. Keep the e-mails coming! |
