Say, would you guys mind hosting a rpg group for trek, because Bravo Fleet is about to loose a good number of simms to one heck of a bad regulation, and they need someplace to stay, and as 5MV is highly populous, I was wondering, zeke, if they could stay here.

why not band together, as it's offical that the Kep Salu is leaving, along with most of TF9, and the Bonaventure in tf 93 most likely.

By hosting, do you mean on the 5mv forums?

Talk to me if you want to use the IRC (mainly so I'll know what times to turn the server off, logging, new channels, etc.) but it should be okay with me, if you want that. :)

On the one hand, I don't want to turn away a Trek group in need... and we could really use a nice influx of new members. On the other hand, these forums really have nothing to do with RPing. And it's not very difficult to set up your own forum system -- phpBB is free, and if I can install it, anyone can.

Okay, before I decide, I'll need all the details. Let's have it: who you guys are, what you do, what this new regulation is and why it pickles you. And whether 5MV is popular with your group in general or just you in particular.

Zeke, I'm gonna guess that they're probably meaning having a website, and an IRC server. Maybe email groups sorta stuff. Just the general basics you need to run a SIM Org.

may not have to use 5mv after all, but I'll keep you guys on a watch list in case our current new home doesn't work out.

Well, why don't we have an RP on the 5MV boards anyway? We can be a crazy disparate group of international makeup who parody popular science-fiction TV shows and talk about pie! It'll be a rousing sucess, I'm sure of it.

Yeah! And you could also be really fanatical about one of the captains from one of the mainstream sci-fi series, and there could be a whole running saga about a play that the actress is in getting cancelled and the getting un-cancelled and so on and so forth. I think you'd fit that part just perfectly.
