"Captian!" Belana Torres climps out of a J-tube access panel onto the brindge, panting fro the climb from engineering. "It's no use. I can't stop the core breach. We've got three minutes, and I can't eject because of the antimatter radiation we passed thro-GAK!"
Janeway looks down at the corpse that had, until recently, been her cheif engineer. Then she looks up at the other occupant of the bridge. "Doctor, get us out of here."
The bridge pod rumbles as the ejection circuit engage, then once more as therusters cut in. "Pitty about that radiation," the doc says idly, not thinking properly as his code taps the ejection systems. Molments later, only Janeway is left on the bridge. "Now, to see about some coffee..."
