 ost_uid0]Newcastle, to be precise. Brummies come from Birmingham, and the Scouse accent is found in Liverpool.It's a pity they don't have the Lewisian West Side accent though. Its liberal use of double e sounds is quite distinctive to say the least. I had one RE teacher while I was there who would regularly yell "Quieet!" whenever she felt we were getting too noisy. "Mileenuim" is another favorite of mine.[/color ost_uid0]
