Ginga doesn't get HBO.

(Personally, I think that HBO does excellent stuff. But it may just be me (and the majority of the Emmy voters) )

17 says she is voting for someone besides me.

Oh well, there is always the possibility of a split electorate!

Opium is hoping for a tie!

Actually, there isn't.

"I will have been running" isn't the same as "I will run", as it speaks of another time. If you're going to run tomorrow, you "will run" tomorrow, but you "will have been running" the day after tomorrow, see?
That's not what I said. I never said:

I will run (the Future) = I will have been running (The Future Perfect Past Active Progressive) (I think it might go by a different name, however)

Those are different, I said:

I will have been going to be being run = I will be being run (Future Passive Progressive)

Because the have been refers to the past, and the going to be refers to the future, in both the same amount, so they cancel out, more or less.

I willl, future, have been, perfect, going to, future, being, passive, run, progressive. I think. I'm not sure about the last two cases, as I can never remember them. The rest looks okay though.
Yes, that sounds about right.

Xeroc does not realize that by posting about grammer he is breaking Forum Law #47.47 subsection 6.9 paragraph 1.9 in the Forum Law Really Long Handbook.

Forum Law #47.47 subsection 6.9 paragraph 1.9 states:
Quote:
One shall not talk about grammer without large warnings in post, as many forumsgoers are in high school and college and do not wish to hear anything about grammer.
Or at least that law would exist if I was the one running things...

Vote for Opium! Trek Fans would be asked kindly not to talk about grammer during periods of fun, unless all parties involved consented to such talk about grammer.

Opium is making up forum laws!

I do believe, however, that Forum Law #137.pie subsection 4.2 paragraph -0.2 in the Forum Law Really Long Handbook clearly states...

Xeroc is also making up forum laws!

But! Look at Forum Law #4.79 subsection 4.22 paragraph 47 of the Forum Law Really Long Handbook clearly states:

Quote:
Forum Law #137.pie subsection 4.2 paragraph -0.2 is null and void as the Misc. 5MV forum is not a paid nor private forum.
Therefore, Forum Law #47.47 subsection 6.9 paragraph 1.9 is in fact the relevant law.

:P

Opium is attempting to nullify the effects of forum laws!

But Law #5.689 subsection 4.1 paragraph 19 states that in the event of conflicting laws, the problem must be solved with a pie fight. In the event of a lack of pie, cake may be substituted.

Have fun!

Hey I'm back! Did anyone miss me? We got power back Sunday evening but the power surge blew my computer's transformer up. So for my birthday (that was yesterday) my wonderful loving hubby took pity on me and got my computer fixed today! So I am back online! And very glad to be here!

Chancellor Valium stated the reasoning behind the Morphine party!

On random note...the folks at DAYS really needed the folks at CSI...

Opium mentioned Days again.

Also, someone is afraid of a little English sentence with some weird tense in it? Hah! You should have seen the sentence I had to decrypt, analyze and translate for my Latin exam today. 38 WORDS! (why we have Latin exams on a History college is beyond me, ) Anyhow, it took me SEVEN hours to analyze and translate it, all 38 words, all the declensions, conjugations, cases, tenses, states, forms, syntactic constructions...

And thanks to the lack of Latin-to-Croatian online translators, I had to translate Latin to English and then to Croatian. But that only gave me a translation that made no sense at all, and I had to slap some sense into it AND do the grammar all by myself, all night! And chat on ICQ with Pointy at the same time, too!

I shall post it here, when I get home! MWAHAHAHA! I can˙t do it here because this college computer has a weird keyboard, so it would take all day. But just you wait...

Nic is a guest and he posted twice.

Opium: LOL yes they do need the CSI people. I wonder when people are going to realize that John and Bo are gone? There never was a funeral for Jenn and Hope and Patrick. I wonder if Bo and John will have one?

Not that's it's really incredibly good, however.
