Default Weird

I'm watching an episode of the X-Files called Fallen Angels and I noticed something interesting. In that episode there is a base in Cheyenne Mountain abbreviated SSC. Also in the Stargate series the base in Cheyenne Mountain is abbreviated SGC. I will post any random semi-weirdish facts from the X-Files that I see since I got the Complete Collectors Edition of the X-Files for Christmas.

Given that it's the X-Files, I expect there will be many.

I suspect that Cheyenne Mountain's longtime actual role as NORAD HQ (see War Games, etc.) and SAC Command Post (yes, that's redundant -- deal with it) leave it open to being used as the setting for all sorts of fictional secret bases. I wouldn't read a lot more into it than that.

(Disclaimer-If you know nothing about classical music you will not comprehend the next sentence, also read it in a creepy evil voice) I'm bach...

In the X-Files, Scully's Dad is played by the same guy as General Hammond. Yet another connection between The X-Files and Stargate stuff.
I'll be bach another time with a random pointless semi-weirdish things about the X-Files.
You know what, maybe I should make a podcast called Random Pointless Semi-Weirdish Things About The X-Files.

There's an exchange in The Goon Show that goes something like that:

Gryptype-Thynne: Why are you in the piano?
Morairty: I'm hidin!
Gryptype-Thynne: Nonsense, he's been dead for years.
