If you want saving from atomic anything, your best bet is to call International Rescue. Hold out for Thunderbird 2 though - that's the one that all the really cool toys come in.

Man. Thunderbirds? That show is cool. And you're right, TB-1 is absoulutely useless.

I've always wondered about TB-1. Scott arrives and does some recon, then has to kick-back and wait for TB-2 to arrive, even though sometimes it takes hours? I'd love a job like that.

John Tracy had the best job of all - I bet he spent most of his time up in Thunderbird Five just surfing the web for porn.

Has anyone else noticed the rather insane amount of time it takes for TB2 to arrive? I mean, I've heard of padding...

The worst episode was "Terror In New York City" where Thunderbird Two was shot down and they had to transport Thunderbird Four via a Navy vessel...I think it took something like 22 hours? I can almost hear the rescuees saying, "Don't bother! Really, it's okay! Just pass us down the guns..."

TB-2 was always fashionably late. It wouldn't do to just turn up when you were needed now, would it? That sort of thing is very last season, you know.

GASP! Gadzooks! Egad! My giddy aunt! Zounds! You *dare* to imply that the TARDIS is...unfashionable!?

There's a good question. If you have a time machine, can you ever be late for something?

And yet, somehow, the Doctor managed it. Now that takes real style.

Since when was the TARDIS ever refered to as TB-2, anyhow?

It wasn't. It was the transport plane/ship thing on Thurnderbirds.

It isn't. But you seemed to imply that materialisation is out of fashion. Which, as ye well know, is punishable by death by poking with bread sticks.

It is out of fashion though. Quantum is the in thing these days, and the idea of definitively going from one place to another is just so much old hat (unless no-one sees it happening, of course, in which case it's okay).

richardson, please keep your senile midgets out of this. You'll annoy the Kingmaker.

Pointy: I see your dead cat, and raise you an Artefact of Rassilon.
