7. There are about 47 degrees between the Tropic of Capricorn and that of Cancer.

6. 47^9 can be written as the sum of distinct smaller 9th powers.

5. 47 is a prime Keith number. (Whuh? I dunno)

4.
  • 4 + 7 = 11
  • 7 + 11 = 18
  • 11 + 18 = 29
  • 18 + 29 = 47

3. 47^3 is the smallest cube which is a sum of consecutive squares.

2. 666^47 has a digit sum of 666

1. Without 47, how would we count from 46 to 48?

Top 7 excuses for missing work

I'm sorry....but I know I'm sad...these are actual excuses I've used for missing my summer job...

7. "I have to feed my fish." (I know, it takes me like 3 seconds....it shouldn't take than long....I only have an algae eater...)
6. "I shouldn't have to come to work. It's Saturday." (I just woke up, and school had been out for maybe three days. Yes, they called me.)
5. "I have flying lessons." (When I used it, true. I do take flying lessons.)
4. "As soon as I beat this part of the game." (What was I thinking? Was I thinking?)
3. "I have to walk my cats." (What's sad is, they believed this one.)
2. "I locked my keys in my car." (I don't have a driver's license yet.)

and the top excuse I've used to attempt getting out of work...

1. "I'm sick." (I was, though, really. Strep throat. I think I got off because I heard someone say 'humor the poor boy' on their end, but whether that had something to do with strep throat or not I don't want to know.)

I deeply apologize if my MSTing made the list funny. I have genuinely used every single excuse here. I am sad. Throw stuff at me if you wish.
