I'm sad to announce that due to creative differences, Machiavelli is no longer on contract as a story consultant. We are currently still looking for a suitable replacement to fill in that role, though for the moment Catbert has kindly volunteered to take over.

Right. Mid campaign poster. All credit for the flag/text thing to Xeroc. Man that was a good idea. I wish I'd thought of it!

Comparing yourselves to Bush and Blair is NOT a good move. If anyone needs someone to tag on with......Oh, and a new list of policy decisions by New Valium
- too much Temporal Cold War/Conspiracy Theorems about the Vulcans, and the writers will be SACKED and replaced with BETTER writers.
- Every few months the writers will be SACKED and replaced with BETTER ones.....
- Brannon Braga and Rick Berman will be hired....as work-experience boys.....
- Annoying scenes which get in the way will be removed
- Anyone found to be obsessing about minor details on the programme, unless justified, will be SACKED..or worse, appear as redshirts....
- Pointless characters will, every few months, be put on a shuttle with Wesley Crusher and thrown to the Klingons as stress relievers...()
- I'm afraid the current Enterprise music has to go....its so irritating i can't bear it a moment longer....besides....its not very Star Trek-y...is it?
So Vote Valium Today!

All the campaign posters are almost enought to make me go buy a copy of PSP. But, I'm a little too cheap for that... Maybe I'll go get a copy of the Gimp...

Maybe they think I'm one of the electors, in which case it would indeed be a good move.

Of course, for all we know so far, Bush and Blair are the electors....

The following post has been approved by BUH and Opium...even though the only person in BUH is Opium...but I mean, I'm willing to have a vice exec, please leave applications in this thread. Anyways, yah, so this post is approved by me, Opium, because, I mean, I posted it and all.

In this post, I will not discuss any cute promises or say any sort of negative things about those who are also in the running. Instead, I will state this:

I was a DRO (Deputy Returning Officer) which meant I helped people vote and helped count the ballots. So, I know about fair elections. Therefore, I will say this: I will ensure this is a fair election! If elected, I will also make sure that the elections done while I am in power will be fair.

However, despite the above knowlegde of how an election SHOULD be, let's face: it is best to vote for the party that will represent your views the best, AND is most likely to be voted in. So,

VOTE FOR OPIUM

so the "names with medicinal qualities" vote won't be split. :P

I just posted this elsewhere in another thread but I thought I better put it in the official election one. As I'm away for a fortnight sab is officially in control of the Sexy party in my absence. I'm sure she'll be back soon

And as I said before, seeing as you lot are apparently not voting, it won't really matter if we're both gone, never to return. That might make an interesting TJI actually

I expect to be pelted with rotten vegetables in my absence, but the Sexy party will pull through any slander.

Remember, we are an honest party in all ways. If you don't like us or our ideas vote for Pointy. If I don't get in I'm all for a Trip hour

Good news, everyone! A replacement for Machiavelli has been secured, after a great deal of negotiation. Should I be elected, my story/editorial consultant shall be none other than...

Edmund Blackadder!

I've been advised to ignore any and all advice from his companion Baldrick though, especially if the words "I have a cunning plan" precede it...

Many children watch "Enterprise". In fact, Star Trek has always been something kids watched, and has been family-safe.

But what kind of family-safe programming could be run by a party that has "Sex" in their name?

While Alexia and Admiral Sab are outstanding forumgoers, creative, fun and nice, together they make the Sexy party. How can a "Sexy" party make a "family-friendly" show?

VOTE OPIUM-FOR THE KIDS!

You might haven`t noticed it, Opium, but for some time now, Enterprise is not quite family-friendly show...

Ever since "Broken Bow, Part I", I reckon... :P

Speaking of the campaign, I`m most alarmed by the increasing amount of new candidates and the disturbing lack of voters. Still, I`m not giving up hope. The Xeroc/Nic campaign, also known as Niroc and Ni! shall continue proudly and honourably.

For my fake Tom Welling campaign posters, do return to page 5.

I told my friend who also signed up for the J-Team that you would try to get the Grand High Janewayites to wake up and let people post. XD

So now you totally have to do it. :P

Exactly! Someone must take a FIRM stand on whether 'Enterprise' is an adult-oriented show that should be on after 10pm, or a family-friendly show which should be put on at 8pm!

Quote:
It's just a name Still vote for us
'Tis never just a name! Remember, if a "rose" was called a "stink blossom" would anyone like it? Nope!

Therefore, even though Alexia and Admiral Sab are nice, friendly forumgoers who are probably totally good citizens, I am judging that, by their party name, they want to turn "Enterprise" into a Victoria's Secret commercial...Victoria Secret's male undies, that is. (I mean, really, the costumers could try to have Trip wear red silk undershirts! )
:P
