Now would seem to be the time to give some support to an old classic of the Trek fandom world. A quote from Jim Wright's Delta Blues review of Twisted:

"The usual inanities are exchanged: "You don't look a day over one," "This must have cost you a week's worth of replicator rations!" "Two, actually, but who's counting?" ad stupidum. But it's a birthday party, where IQs are traditionally checked at the door."

Happy belated birthday, Zeke! I totally suck at baking, but have a pie. Don't have one I made, though. Especially if it smells like almonds.

I have horrible timing. I missed it. Again. My bad chat-timing streak holds! But I agree with having people drop into it whenever. We need more wacky.

You can't have too much wacky. Unless you're at a funeral or something. But then again, I'm the kind that laughs at a funeral . Go Semisonic!

Actually, I've only been to one funeral in my life, and I was too young to comprehend it.

That looks too good to eat. Did you get that photo someplace, or did you actually know the baker?

It's a thing I found on the web, alas. Seeing something like that for real would be quite fun (and eating it all the better).

Maybe if it wasn't apple. I'm more of a raspberry or key lime fan.

No, Minnesotan.

Seriously, where did you find a Grim Reaper smilie, and how do you make it?

Perhaps the last choice, just, as you say, to be sure.

^One would assume so.

NTL: But why should we take your word for it? You quite clearly weigh the same as a duck.

That would be a mighty heavy duck.

Oh, and I'm not being defensive, I weigh exactly what I should for my height.

From the "Wish I'd Thought of It At the Time" file: Nate, that chart you're reading is in inches, not centimetres.

Oh, I'm wounded, Z. In a Lancelot's-squire-Conrad sort of way, of course.

We can always wish a happy unbirthday. Happy Unbirthday, Katy! Happy Unbirthday, Zeke!
