Default Tennant as Who.

Well, from the snippet that was on the Beeb earlier, he's going to be just as irritating as before, and the BBC's fetish for regional accents continues unchecked, as he puts on a dreadful mockney.

Rose is understandably confused, and his regeneration has gone wrong, meaning he alternates between bent double with pain and driving the TARDIS "faster". I would have thought such adjectives as "fast" and "slow" didn't apply to a time machine, but there you are.

A lot of time is spent with Tennant feeling his own body (quite literally), rather than just get a mirror.

That concludes his first appearance.

3 Hartnells out of 10, beating his predecessor's one.

I think that plays rather well, actually. It fits nicely with the wider established continity of the present new seasons, but it also harkens back to earler times, even possibly more so if you're one of those who are of the belief that the Doctor really is a reincarnation of the Other. I know how popular that is with some circles of fans, but given that it doesn't actually push that position in any explicit wat I think it keeps everyone happy. Unless of course you're someone who isn't a huge fan of the form the new seasons have taken, like some around here I know. :P

Majority of Who fans I know agree
Mind you, I'm not a member at OG (bastards wouldn't let me register with an internet email address, and I'm buggered if I'm giving out my work one...), so don't have access to that minefield of opinions

What amazes me is that, having been to Harry Potter IV, I have now seen two different people morph into David Tennant in the last six months...

Scary. How did you keep yourself sane?
Or do you have a mole too?
