Spider-Man helps Charlie Brown kick that football and get some revenge on Lucy. And the best part is, it's not fanart, it's official!

This is a few too many steps removed from relevance to link on the site proper, so I'm doing so here. I've mentioned before (I think) my fondness for the slice-of-life manga and anime K-ON!. This is a short fic I've had on the back burner for a while; I polished it off because it may lose relevance after the election. Yeah, it's a weird one.

It's Obscure '80s DOS Games Day in the Link Dump Thread!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gB4VAGzJzZs

Sopwith Camel. Back when one man, a machine gun, and a handful of bombs could bring an entire air force to their knees.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KO7Wp...eature=related

Arcade Volleyball. You'd think creatures without arms would be unable to invent volleyball, but there they are.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIQXI5ns6iU

God of Thunder. Proving that crossing Thor with Link and tossing in the odd block-pushing puzzle can actually work.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ih_c3XDCkDY

Paganitzu. Block-pushing puzzles and running away from the odd giant spider? Count me in!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJh1SjgzuSI

Dangerous Dave. Even today those sound effects take me back to a simpler time. A time when you could ride a jetpack and stay perfectly vertical the entire time.

Someone drew the DeLorean/horse scene from BTTF 3 as though it was a graphic from Oregon Trail.

One of the original writers of TNG's "Rascals" talks briefly about the original idea behind that episode, the recent Dark Shadows movie, and the rewriting process in Hollywood in general.

The best part is when Leonard starts bopping along to "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins." Talk about an obscure reference for only the die-hardiest of Trekkies!

I've been a fan of Steve Ramsey's woodworking projects for awhile, but this one especially tickled my fancy. He takes old pallets and turns them into tiny pallets, just big enough to be a coaster for a drink!

Someone drew Kirk and Spock in the style of the recent Paperman cartoon along with the girl from Paperman (whose name is Meg, by the way).

In case you haven't seen Paperman, watch here:

Before I talk about this video in particular, let me just give Smooth McGroove a few thousand plugs. He does great acapella versions of video game instrumentals.

Now then, in this video he teams up with another guy to sing a parody of the Pokemon theme, as sung by one of those random, ordinary trainers that you find by the dozens in any game. Ah, the tribulations of being an NPC destined to be defeated by the hero...

A Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. clip. Go to the four-minute mark. The Mystery Machine has just been destroyed, and the gang does a homage to the destruction of the Enterprise in Search for Spock:

Fred: Oh my gosh, gang. What (Shatnerian pause) have I done?
Daphne: What you had to do. What you always do. Turn traps into a fighting chance to live.

Someone rewrote the lyrics to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer so you could sing them to the melody of the Hawaii 5-O theme. Must be seen to be believed.
