Well, I would like to make say this: 1000 topics!
MaverickZer0

So...will there be pie at this 1000 topic party? I'd bring it, but I doubt anyone would feel safe eating food I made/touched/brought/went near/was in the same room as at any point before they saw it.
Of course there's pie. There's always pie.
And there'll be pi at the 3142nd-topic party.

There'll be pi sooner than that, unless I miss my guess.
You're right -- 3141st. I've never been a fan of rounding.
::scratches head:: why would 3.14159... round down? 9 rounds up to make 59 into 60. 6 rounds up to make 16 into 20. That makes the end digits 42. What am I missing?
The part where I said "I've never been a fan of rounding." Thus, truncation. :)

I heard somebody was waiting for me?

Yes, we were. Did you get pie?
Oh, hold on.

There it is. Good ol' Key Lime Pie. Sim would be happy.

Mmm, Key Lime!
Surely 3142 is good, since it also contains the Ultimate Answer...

True. I have pizza, does that count?
Chancellor Valium
03-04-2006, 07:07 PM
Most definitely, yes.
Provided it's not an icky topped one. And you share it, naturally.

03-04-2006, 09:48 PM
Well, I don't know. Let's see if we can get something like twenty active posters to agree on toppings, shall we?

Good idea. I nominate pepperoni, pineapple, and anchovies.
Scooter
03-05-2006, 03:03 AM
I nominate chili. Mmmm, chili pie.
... Don't you hate it when people reference their own fivers? ;)

By the way, I haven't said this before, but I love that the fulcrum of your clock is a system-busy beach ball. Nice touch.

Of course it's Optimus Pimp.
You wanna talk trash to him, brother?

Hey thanks! I thought the busy-sign was a good hint, and it looked cool, too. ;)

Young fool, only now, at the end, do you understand.

You'd have been better off sticking with the Claymore. Katanas are large, fast... and relatively brittle. That's why Samurai were always taught to kill quickly - can't risk the blade breaking:P. So just hit it hard enough, and MaverickZer0 is weaponless...(a)

True.
Don't underestimate the sword skill of a guy named after Zero. [EDIT: Link removed for obvious reasons. GAH!]

(note to self: don't click on pictures ending in "slash.gif")
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
How the HELL did that happen? I swear that's NOT what it looked like when I saw it!
Zero is a video game character who fights with a sword! THAT's what "slash" was supposed to mean! Arrgh!

...I'm not laughing right now.
...honestly.
*laughs*
Well, I've found out what happened. That porn image was the hotlink graphic of the server in question. (Apparently this guy wants to make sure any hotlinker never ever EVER does it again.) What I did was technically "deep linking" and not hotlinking, but apparently this server makes no distinction.
What I was trying to link to was an image of Zero, the character MaverickZer0 is named after, performing cool sword moves. You can see it safely by going here (http://www.kingdom-hearts2.com/zerov/animated.html); it's Zero image 1 in the Mega Man Zero category. (All the animations are worth checking out, but this is the one I meant. I couldn't find Zero doing his rolling slash, so this is his triple slash.)
So believe it or not, it's pure coincidence that the link ended in "slash.gif".
My apologies to all the victims of this. I've taken appropriate action (../forums/viewtopic.php?p=67205) against the perpetrator.

No kidding. Of course, I have an inkling of what it was, but still... I always miss the good stuff.
If you want to see it that badly, it's not difficult. Take the url of one of those images, compose a post that links to it, and preview the post. Clicking on the link will then give you all the Naruto yaoi hentai you want.
...Sickos.
[EDIT: Actually, it looks like the webmaster may have removed that image. I hope you can deal with the loss.]

 Zeke, your Server Hits Overkill streak remains intact! I bet that poor guy has never had excess bandwidth issues with that image before.

IT BURNS US, IT BURNS- wait, we never saws it, precious....
 Zeke, your Server Hits Overkill streak remains intact! I bet that poor guy has never had excess bandwidth issues with that image before.
It's a nice thought, but I'm pretty sure they changed to a different hotlink image -- the url isn't the same as before. I posted at their forum about what happened here, and the webmaster said he didn't realize their hotlink image was hentai (I assume it was their server monkey's doing, like the nasty 404 page Owen had at 3Sygma). He said he would remove it, so I'm guessing he has.
To Mav, Ginga, and those of like mind... I'm afraid you won't be seeing the picture now. It's no longer in my browser history, and I draw the line at actually searching for it. Don't mourn it, just move on -- the internet is positively glutted with yaoi. Plenty of swordfish in the sea, if you get me.

Just don't beat yourself up over it.
Okay, bad news. I found it. It was still in my browser history at work (which is actually much worse than still having it at home -- I'll have to clear my cache).
So if you really want to see it, I won't link to it directly, but it's on this page (http://yaoinami.y-hosting.net/naruto/naruto.html). It's page 4 of episode 1. You are warned this time: I'm not responsible for anyone who clicks.

Oh. Not even the semi-decent sort then. Ah well.
However, I just love the fact that you went out and searched for it just so you could show it to us. :D
Don't get the wrong idea -- I didn't search very hard. If it hadn't still been in my browser history at work (specifically, the url autocomplete list), that would have been that. I try to give you guys what you want, but there's a limit.

And I very much appreciate it. (It probably needs more of a warning though...like one, oh, every post it's mentioned.)
