With the new Superman movie coming out, I was thinking about connections between Doctor Who and the Superman franchise, especially since the original film version was made in the UK.
I know about William Russell (http://shillpages.com/dw/ruswsup.shtml), but wasn't able to think of any others off the top of my head.

Heh heh heh -- I mean, oh no!
Great minds. I chose this forum's new description before I read Gatac's post.

Incidently, why is it set so that only topics active in the last day appear by default?

I'm getting that, too, but only in the News forum (it wasn't like that to begin with.)
I'm not having that problem. Have you checked your user settings to see if you can change it?

Easily fixed. It's in the 'edit options' panel in User CP.
User CP--->Edit Options--->Thread Display Options--->Default Thread Age Cutoff
Tada! All threads visible by default.

^ Hadn't tried that. I was just using the setting at the bottom of the forum index, which only worked for the one visit. Weird, though, because as I mentioned above, it hadn't been set for "last day" when the vBulletin board first went online -- it only started doing that a week or so ago, and then only in the News forum.
Whatever happened, MaverickZer0's fix seems to have taken care of it.
Excellent. Mav gets a pie.

User CP--->Edit Options--->Thread Display Options--->Default Thread Age Cutoff
Well that's strange, because that's what it's already set to.

No, I meant the section Default Thread Age Cutoff. Set it to 'Show all threads.'

Ah, see, now the problem there was that you didn't go into nearly enough excruciating detail.
