Mark gave me a link that showed a solution to fixing the problem, but then the people in the post were saying that it didn't work, then someone else posted something much easier which I tried, but I can't tell if it's really done anything yet.

In fact, I turned it back to the way it was because it didn't work as the poster claimed. He said something about it dropping back to 22k when a page finished loading, which was a load of bullshit. Mine just kept climbing. But whatever, one day they'll fix it, and Firefox still runs faster on my computer than IE anyway, I just have to close it after leaving it open for ridiculous amounts of time, which isn't really a bad thing to do to begin with when you leave something on the computer open for a day.
