The doctor tried to tell me that I had bronchitis, but I informed him I have had bronchitis every year since about 4th grade. This is not bronchitis. ;) when you have bronchitis you cough, but you cough up phlegm and it's more in your lungs. This is a tickling in the back of my throat. The doc then tries to tell me it's my sinuses! Uh... nooo, I've also had sinus problems before and this isn't a sinus infection. I think it's strep. But no the strep test was negative! Oh cause those tests are so reliable and accurate! All my symptoms point to strep throat, but the test was negative so it can't be strep! what the crap is that all about? anyways, I don't think the doc knew what he was talking about but he wrote me a doctor's excuse for missing work today and tomorrow. He told me it might be contagious so I better not go to work. (I work at a daycare) well DUH I could have told him that! LOL what's really funny is that I can't really talk and my ears hurt so I know I have an ear infection and he has to look in my ear and down my throat before he can tell me, "yep, you're ears are infected and so is your throat." I rolled my eyes :roll: and said "oh ok." I was looking around the room to find out where he got his medical degree. At least I have meds now though. Sorry for the long post, I kinda ranted for a bit. But I haven't really been able to talk...but I can type by golly! ;)

Sab, I understand how you feel. When I called into safeway they said, "Really, Matthew? ANOTHER day off? You've taken lots off for a new hire." I've been working there for 2 months... I've missed 3 days including today. The first one was because I went on vacation, and told them about it, and they made a change to the schedule and put me on. The second time someone was fired and so they gave all of her shifts away. Well, that week I worked Sunday, then didn't work again until Saturday. They gave me her friday shift, and I had no idea. So I get this call on Friday at 5:

Them: Hey Matt where are you?
Me: Buh?
Them: You know you work today.
Me: Buh?
Them: Yeah, we gave you one of Taryn's shift, remember?
Me: Buh?
Them: Don't you check your shifts everyday?

So, apparently I have to go down every day to check if they randomly gave me a shift. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have jobs with power.

Ok, bring up the trillian window, right click on the little gray dot and slect conttion manager. In the server box type"irc.lionsanctuary.net " in port type
6667 then connect. the little gray dot will go from being hollow to solid, then right click the dot again, and select join channel, type "#5mv" and you should be in :D! look forward to seeing you. ;)

When I tried to connect to IRC from Trillian, it also refused to pop. Whatever it was supposed to pop. I did everything like KJ said few posts above and NOTHING happened, nothing at all. WHYYY?

My avvys? Well, I had a couple I made for this forum when I got bored of my old one I have nicked from google. Then I discoved Photoshop :mrgreen: And, well, I don't have a lot of things I can make other than avatars, and I have made A LOT! Today alone I made 3... :!: But I will try and restain myself a bit. Otherwise I will give you lot a headache! Anyway, I am distracted with other projects at present, so it can stay as the cute bear for at least a week :wink:

At present, I'd say I have about 10 I have made just for this forum :)

Okay, as for the whole Poonie thing:

We were on the IRC, when Vedra I believe, asked me if the Canadian Dollar was really called the Loonie. I said that it wasn't, and that the Canadian 1 Dollar coin is called a loonie. I also mentioned that the 2 dollar coin is a toonie. I then jokingly asked if they knew what a 5 cent coin was called. I got some crazy --oonie answers, one of which was the poonie. I told them it was the nickel... but it was to late. The poonie had caught on with them. In truth, this may be considered my fault.
