The new IRC Server! None other than ... IRCXeroc!

Well, everyone, as you might have noticed, I have been hinting at moving to another server, as there were problems with the IrcAssistant being allowed and such ... but not to worry ... we are about to move to the server of all servers ... hosted by none other than, your very own, Xeroc...

IRCXeroc (irc.xeroc.zapto.org)

Now enhanced with the IrcAssistant v2.5 too!

The channel will still be #5mv, but you can also come to the channel #irc, if you wish to talk to me about anything server-related in specific, or want to join in the testing of new features and new irc assistants. Of course, asking server or assistant related questions is permitted in #5mv, it's just not a dedicated venue for that and is prone to wildly veering off-topic and into pure nonsensical nonsense.

Channels:

#5mv - Five-Minute Voyager Chat!
#irc - Main server room, test room for new features and IrcAssistant features.

So, enjoy the new and improved chat!

I understand the need for a new server as the old one does not support the IRCassistant but, what does the IRCassistant actually do? Appart from say Mmmmmmm...pie, which is indeed very funny, if not very useful :wink: :mrgreen:

I think it logs the chat right? But I'm sure we could do that before...does it have some super dooper fancy schmancy things that I don't know about?

Yes, it has all sorts of cool features!
