Oooh, I like that movie. Showed it to my 8th graders last year when they were learning about strikes and child labor (and that's the only time I've shown an entire movie - I usually just show clips). I think only 2 out of those 36 students had heard of it.

Anyway...BttF3 is long over now, and I'm listening to pretty much nothing, just the hum of computers and typing and clicking.

Right now I'm listening to the annoyingly lound music being played by my neighbors right now. ;)

Good. Now I'm listening to the theme from Battlestar TOS. Also, several songs from Guys and Dolls, and pieces from the Hitchhiker's Guide soundtrack. Basically whatever comes up next in iTunes' shuffle.

I'm listening to after-dinner conversation. Last night's topic was artifical insemination of pigs; I'm really hoping there won't be a reccurence.

Nothing. I want to have music on, but I have trouble writing and listening at the same time.

(What am I writing? Well, there was actually a big hint in yesterday's newspost.)

I'm listening to my inner critic. She's blasting me for not counting the civics books before today. Gah.

And I'm also listening to Riley Armstrong's "Sunray."

Is it a "biege box" model? Try whacking it solidly on the case where the noise is coming from. It stops it from making that noise in our downstairs computer. Alternately, check for dust buildup. One solution is temporary, the other more permanent.

A CD that one of my 9th graders prepared for our memorial service for the Roman Empire today. Right now it's "Rome Will Go On" (Celine Dion sings backup), and then there's a duet between my student and Gloria Gaynor singing "Rome Will Survive."
