I don't even think it's supposed to mean anything. But it must be brilliant, as it had me slamming my head against a wall while humming it all math class.
(Note: Maverick does not actually slam his head against the wall in math class as the mental depravity of his classmates causes the same result with extra pain. What he usually does is burrow his head in his own backpack and not come up for air until the bell rings.)
