Hmmm, not counting Joanna Lumley I'd have to go for Judi Densch -- she'd have the dry humor and quirkiness.
And I liked Chris Eccleston as well. Though I think I'm going to love David Tennant, despite complaints that we shouldn;t have a Doctor you can "fancy"...
