Never did like Snakes and Ladders, it seemed like the epitome of a "we're just killing time with no application of skill" game. At least other simple games of childhood like Aggravation or Parcheesi or Chinese Checkers required a little bit of skill!

I've considered playing backgammon with my boys, but I'm not sure how well they'd take to the abstract board or appreciate getting landed on.
