Eh, I am sick. I went to the Doctor today and am now on meds. My ear hurts, my throat hurts and I can't talk! My hubby is loving it!

Hopefully, Fuyu is not sick.
So, I went to the doctor. He thinks I have bronchitis :cry: Then I called into safeway saying that I was really sick and wouldn't be able to work. I'm hacking up a lung, do you really want me touching your lettuce? They got mad at me :cry: I don't like today... Well, I'm off to go get X-Rays done! Woo!

Cat doesn't have bronchitis.
The doctor tried to tell me that I had bronchitis, but I informed him I have had bronchitis every year since about 4th grade. This is not bronchitis. when you have bronchitis you cough, but you cough up phlegm and it's more in your lungs. This is a tickling in the back of my throat. The doc then tries to tell me it's my sinuses! Uh... nooo, I've also had sinus problems before and this isn't a sinus infection. I think it's strep. But no the strep test was negative! Oh cause those tests are so reliable and accurate! All my symptoms point to strep throat, but the test was negative so it can't be strep! what the crap is that all about? anyways, I don't think the doc knew what he was talking about but he wrote me a doctor's excuse for missing work today and tomorrow. He told me it might be contagious so I better not go to work. (I work at a daycare) well DUH I could have told him that! LOL what's really funny is that I can't really talk and my ears hurt so I know I have an ear infection and he has to look in my ear and down my throat before he can tell me, "yep, you're ears are infected and so is your throat." I rolled my eyes :roll: and said "oh ok." I was looking around the room to find out where he got his medical degree. At least I have meds now though. Sorry for the long post, I kinda ranted for a bit. But I haven't really been able to talk...but I can type by golly!

Sab has an ear infection AND a throat infection.
Sab, I understand how you feel. When I called into safeway they said, "Really, Matthew? ANOTHER day off? You've taken lots off for a new hire." I've been working there for 2 months... I've missed 3 days including today. The first one was because I went on vacation, and told them about it, and they made a change to the schedule and put me on. The second time someone was fired and so they gave all of her shifts away. Well, that week I worked Sunday, then didn't work again until Saturday. They gave me her friday shift, and I had no idea. So I get this call on Friday at 5: Them: Hey Matt where are you? Me: Buh? Them: You know you work today. Me: Buh? Them: Yeah, we gave you one of Taryn's shift, remember? Me: Buh? Them: Don't you check your shifts everyday? So, apparently I have to go down every day to check if they randomly gave me a shift. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have jobs with power.

I was called up to HR the other day, which scared me coz usually when that happens is BAD! But they only wanted to take my photo for the internet
 Fuyu would be greatly disturbed by being called to Customer Services.

Actually, they sent me home. Turns out that a 17 year old can't just walk in and get X-Ray's without their parents. Who would've guessed? I was able to talk to the doctor, and even get my prescription filled. Crazy x-ray guys. Gotta go tommorow, after my parents get home.
