The reason the LJers here are trying to get people to join is so they can share in the experience. It's a tool for online community, not a recruiting drive for the Aryan Nation.

Why invalidate people who blog by insinuating it's stupid or the playground of vapid teenagers with nothing to say? You don't lose your brain the minute you find an outlet for speaking your mind.

I fail to see how looking down on people who blog makes non-bloggers look better or "less trendy" or "more original."

So you blog or you don't blog. What's the big deal, either way?[/colorost_uid0]
