We're not trying to force anyone to get an LJ here.

What we're trying to do is to [iost_uid0]encourage[/iost_uid0] you people to get an LJ.

Why? Because from what we can tell, y'all are a really funny, insightful, intelligent and engaging bunch, and your thoughts would be a fantastic contribution to the LJ community. Scooter, for example, is a prolific writer, Â and his posts are always a great read. It [iost_uid0]is[/iost_uid0] true that the vast majority of blogs out there are banal and stupid. I should know. I'm a a LJ-reviewing community.

But we can always try to change that.

Bottom line being: Yes, we'd like you to get an LJ. Very much. It'd be nice to get to know y'all better outside the scope of the forums. But if you don't want to get one, that's fine, no hard feelings; 'tis a free forum. It's both our loss and yours, of course, but thankfully we've already got some great writers on board.
