Pointy: I believe what is important is the actually engine, which means you credit The United Kingdom, and The Germans. But you're right, the DeHavilland Coment 1 was the first Jet Liner, which first flew in 1951
edit: My mistake, it's British, not Canadian, you're right about it not being Canadian, unless more on the story is found... stripysox: If it was actual inventing, then lightbulbs should be included in there (Edison only got credit, he also made working ones, but it's not his invention) also, no problem. - Also: I wonder why pablum isn't in there, I didn't see it, and I KNOW it'd Canadian, so is muskol, bushplanes STOL planes and kerosene If concepts where among the page, it'd also include hovercraft
