I adore the Zero games. In fact, the MMZ fiver will probably come before I'm done the X series, because I have lots of ideas. With Legends I'm handicapped by not having a PSX yet, but the games look pretty good.
The first Mega Man Legends game is also out for the Nintendo 64 (as 'Mega Man 64') and the PC, so you might want to try one of those versions.
