The Laughing Vulcan and His Dog
You probably don't remember a throwaway line from the TNG episode "Disaster" where the schoolchildren suggest singing the song "The Laughing Vulcan and His Dog", but Picard's never heard of it. Well, a fan wrote and sang such a song. Incidentally, the creators have said that this song's title isn't a reference to Sybok. Personally, I doubt it. Just look at this scene and tell me that's not a laughing Vulcan and his dog.
