The big stuff that was set for later in June has been delayed a bit -- more on that soon -- but I did at least get one thing done. Remember the Facebook page that I've been trying to get you all to follow for so many years? There's a reason, dangit! I've found ways to use that page that play to FB's strengths. And I fully intended to keep all that stuff FB-exclusive... but like most social media sites, FB has recently decided not to let people view very many posts without logging in, even on public pages. This means I can no longer just tell readers of this site to go there for the extra content, so it's time to host it here too.

My favourite thing to do with the FB page is post bite-site This Just In items, usually pegged to some recent news. I've written 30 of them over the years (many years now; the page has existed since late 2015!). So that'll be the first tranche of content to be "reshored" here at 5MV, and because there is no one with the power to stop me, I'm going to call it what I've always called it in my head:
